As the heat and humidity of summer approaches it can Wreak Havoc on your skin and Hair and that’s why I thought I would share some of my favorite Summer beauty must haves with you.
As summer rolls around I seem to switch up my makeup, skin and hair care routine and With that being said, These are some of the best products on the market and most of these have been reviewed by Allure beauty.
Keeping my skin moisturized is key during the summer, As I love spending time at the beach or by a pool and nothing drives me crazy more then dry skin. The Sol de Janeiro coco cabana cream is a definite fave as is Herbivore rose water moisture cream and it smells delicious and I’ve just discovered this new sunscreen called Supergoop and it works really well. I always (most of the time 😉) use a 30 SPF on my body and 50 SPF on my face and to keep my face from getting too dry, I love Vitamin C and Sunday Riley has a great line from their C. E. O. Collection
Just like our skin and face, Our hair gets dry and damaged from the heat and sun as well, I love Kevin Murphy products and the Hydrate Me line is a must for your hair. The shampoo and conditioner leaves your hair feeling silky and smelling fresh, although his products are a bit pricey, They’re worth every penny. I always use some sort of anti frizz product too because the humidity is not my friend when it comes to my hair, I recently purchased the Caviar anti frizz blowout butter and apply while wet, just before blow drying.
